Use of Facilities by Children
Out-side Food
No outside food may be brought in unless with a scheduled YMCA event (birthday party/facility rental).
PDA - Public Display of Affection
Public displays of affection (PDAs) are unacceptable at the YMCA of Ponca City. Such PDAs include explicit affection expressed between two individuals; it does not have
to be sexual in nature and is not exclusive to those of the opposite sex. PDAs can include, but not limited to, behaviors such as inappropriate physical contact, “making
out,” snuggling, suggestive behavior or sitting on someone’s lap. Consequences of PDA behavior include suspension and/or termination of membership, subject to
discretion of the YMCA staff.
Sexual activity of any kind in the YMCA is not allowed. Any incidents will result in immediate termination or suspension of membership and may result in prosecution to
the fullest extent of the law. The consequences will be decided on a case by case basis depending on the circumstances of the incident. All terminations must be approved
by Y discipline review board.
Racquetball Court Reservations
Court reservations may be made no earlier than one day in advance and can be reserved for one hour at a time. Please call the Member Service Desk to reserve a court.
Courts will be held no longer than 15 minutes past reserved time.
Refund Policies
Program Refund
Participants may request a full refund should they drop the class prior to the first scheduled class,
however, if they attend the first class, a pro-rated refund will be given. After the initial class,
no refunds will be given unless the class is cancelled.
Membership Refund
Membership fees are non-refundable unless in the case of an injury, major illness, or moving from
the Ponca City area for members paying yearly in advance. Joining Fees are non-refundable.
Monthly Draft Cancellation Policy
The draft will continue each month, unless the YMCA is notified in writing at least 15 days prior to the next draft.
Locker Rooms
Families with children must use the family locker rooms. No one under the age of 18 years old are allowed in the Men & Women Locker rooms.
AWAY Program
You are always welcome at the Y - even when you’re away from home. Use another Y by presenting your membership card. Each Y has their own AWAY fee policy. We
will allow members from another Y to come for up to 14 days. Go to www.ymca.net to find a Y near your travel destination.
- Youth drop off Policy - The safety of our youth members and guests is a priority. Children ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in
the Y unless participating in a supervised program or are check in to the Kid Zone. Children 9 and up are allowed in the facility unaccompanied, however they must
present their membership card or pay the day pass to attend the Y. - Fitness Center is available to members 16 years and older. Members ages 13-15 may use this area only after receiving an orientation from a member of the YMCA
Fitness Staff. - Weight Training Area is available to members 16 and older only.
- XRKade Room is for youth 9 years and up. Children 8 and under can use this room with direct supervision provided by a parent or guardian over the age of 18.
- Group Exercise classes and Walking Track are for anyone 13 and up.
- All swimmers under the age of 18 must be swim tested.

| JOINING FEE A joining fee of $50.00 will apply for all new Adult and Family facility memberships. The joining fee for all new Single Parent Family and Young Adult memberships is $25.00. This one-time fee is applied to all new memberships and all membership reinstatements that have been expired for over 45 consecutive days. This fee is used exclusively for building improvements and capital projects. |
